Labour Charges

All prices are inclusive of VAT and are calculated at £40 per hour. Parts are extra.

QUOTE/ESTIMATE: £20 (˝ hour labour)
This is a thorough assessment of repairs needed on a bicycle, the charge is refundable if the work is carried out.

RATE A: £40 (1 hour labour)
Check over/adjustment/lube. Includes labour to change tyres/tubes/cables/pads.

RATE B: £60 (1˝ hours labour)
Includes all of the above and the labour to replace one of the following; Chain and cassette/chainset/headset/bottom bracket/wheel/replace spoke and or true wheel.

RATE C: £80 (2 hours labour)
Includes all of the above and two or more of the components replacing from the list above. The labour then increases by £20 per half an hour after that.

JUNIOR BIKE SERVICING: £20 (12.5" - 18" Wheel)
The above rates will apply to bicycles bigger than this.

GEAR TUNE UP: £20
Includes check over/adjustment/re-callobration of gears, includes the labour to replace cables, chain cleaned and lubed.

GEAR REPLACEMENT: £30
Includes all of the above plus replacement of cassette/freewheel/chain/chainset/shifters.

RIM BRAKE TUNE UP: £20
Includes check over/adjustment/replacement of pads and cables.

RIM BRAKE REPLACEMENT: £30
Includes all of the above and the replacement of brakes and levers.

HYDRAULIC BRAKE SERVICE: £30
Includes check over/adjustment/pad replacement/fluid bleed.

Punctures - Inner Tube Replacement

On bicycle with derailleur gears, front or rear wheel: £5
Hub geared bicycle: £15
Wheel only: £5

Other Repairs

Minor adjustments: £5 (minimum charge)

Notes

A storeage charge is incurred of Ł5 per day on bicycles not collected within seven days of work completed. If the bicycle is not collected within 1 month it will be sold to cover costs.

As demand for servicing is high, we strongly recommend that customers call in advance to book in servicing to avoid disappointment. We give priority to bikes bought from us.

Unfortunately we do not service all brands of bike such as anything mail order from catalogues and newspapers, Argos and Toys 'R' Us. If you're unsure, please call us first.
